THE CASE OF MAGDALENA

On 7 February 2017, Dr. Ruyra’s team successfully operated on Magdalena in the Centro Médico Teknon to replace the mitral valve that she needed due to her disease.
Magdalena, 34 years old and originally from Nicaragua, did not have the resources to pay for her operation and the CardioDreams Foundation, as part of its healthcare programme, was able to operate on her severe mitral valve insufficiency.
